Joshua is the Managing Director of JT Legal, a boutique corporate & finance law practice which he founded after heading the Corporate Practice Group of an International Joint Law Venture in Singapore.

With more than 20 years of corporate and finance law experience under his belt, Joshua is a familiar face in the fund raising and investment circle. He is well-regarded for his expertise in corporate matters such as Mergers & Acquisitions, trade sales, corporate restructuring & rescue and a variety of fund-raising exercise whether relating to start-ups (from seed funding to Series D), SMEs, MNCs or listed companies.

Joshua has also given advice and assisted in application to the MAS for license(s) relating to the Payment Services Act and the Securities and Futures Act. Apart from corporate and regulatory matters, he is also well sought after as a commercially savvy negotiator in alternate dispute resolution matters involving settlement of commercial disputes. 

He is also actively involved in the start-up scene in Singapore, and can often be seen attending events at start-up bootcamps, incubators and accelerators in Singapore. 

For his work and deals, he has been recognized by the Legal 500 Asia Pacific, particularly in the areas of Capital Markets, Banking & Finance, and Corporate and M&A.
